During the academic year, students of the business incubator participated in various regional, republican events to support aspiring entrepreneurs. Close cooperation with ERG "Ecosystem of Student Entrepreneurship" allowed students and teaching staff to participate in trainings and competitions held in Almaty and Karaganda. It is particularly worth noting the participation of the team of the Higher School of Economics in the Republican «ТОМ Мейкатон» Competition for the invention of prototype products for people with disabilities. Our students took 3rd place with the project "The National Game of Assik for children with autism spectrum disease".

The final event of the business incubator was the holding of the anniversary competition "Startup weekend AIU" among 14 teams of Astana International University and Pedagogical College. The participants presented startup projects, and the best 3 teams received cash prizes for the implementation of their ideas.

As part of the work of the social Laboratory in the academic year, a series of interesting meetings with social entrepreneurs were organized for students. For example, master classes from entrepreneur Yergali Baymamirov, entrepreneur and founder of JopsOptic Artem Belobrodsky, founder of the private fund for the development of human capital Sergey Sovetkin. Development Director of "GreenTAL" LLP Kabdykesheva Dayana conducted a training on the development of social innovation projects. S.T. Okutaeva and her students visited the "GreenTAL" social workshop. Students had the opportunity to plunge into the atmosphere of a social enterprise where people with special needs work.

In general, the activities of the Social Innovation Laboratory are relevant and interesting for students. In addition to interactive events, the head of the Laboratory attracted students for joint scientific work on the topic of social entrepreneurship development.

Leading professors and lecturers Virtual Advisory Council on the basis of the HSE held consultations for doctoral and undergraduate students on writing articles taking into account the disciplinary specifics of scientific research and in accordance with modern international standards of science. Such issues were considered as: the criterion for choosing a journal for publication, selection of a journal for publishing Web of Science and Scopus, how to publish for free, how to check if a publication is indexed in the Web of Science Core Collection, etc.

Under the guidance of professors Kazhyken M.Z., Smagulova Z.K., Lesbaeva G.T., Aimurzina B.T., Rakhimova S.A., associate professors Okutaeva S.T., Baibasheva G.K. articles of doctoral students, undergraduates were published in the «Scientific Journal of the University International Sciences Reviews: Social Sciences series», a collection of the International Scientific and Practical Conference "AIU - 2023: Analyze. Innovate. Use" and others. According to the results of the implementation of master's projects in the direction 7M04109 - "Strategic management and leadership" (EMBA), certificates were obtained on the implementation of results in the production of undergraduates Ostashchenko S.A., Tsoi V.V., Khasenov A., Omarov A. and others.

Within the framework of scientific cooperation, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was concluded between Astana International University LLP and «КазНИИ ЭАПК и РСТ» LLP to conduct joint research projects, participation of representatives of the parties in scientific and practical conferences, seminars, presentations, exhibitions and other events.

"ASTANA. ART. "PLEINER" international creative symposium dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Astana International University was held on June 7-9, 2023 at the initiative of the staff of the Higher School of Art and Design. A scientific program was organized for professors and teachers invited to participate from various Kazakhstani and foreign higher educational institutions.

Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Novosibirsk Pedagogical University, Member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, Honored Cultural Worker Oleg Vasilievich Shalyapin held a 36-hour course of lectures for teachers entitled "Current state, trends and perspectives of artistic education in Russian and foreign practice". The main topic of the lecture course is the task of increasing the effectiveness of the designer's professional education process, forming a clear artistic and design thinking as a synthesis of stylistic, conceptual and compositional interaction. Each lecture meeting ended with a discussion of the participants about modern opportunities and problems of art education.

The practical continuation of the theoretical part of the scientific program of the symposium was plein air and master classes on composition, which included "ASTANA ART. Participants of "PLEINER" and many teachers from Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Kazakhstan creative higher educational institutions took an active part.

To commemorate the 5th anniversary of our university, the teaching staff of the Higher School of Art and Design prepared and held a large-scale International creative symposium “ASTANA. ART. PLEINER." The main goal of the symposium was to form creative connections with universities conducting training in the group of educational programs “Design”, as well as integration into the international educational space.

Participants in the Symposium were offered a rich program: plein air in beautiful locations in Astana, master classes by artists and jewelers, an exhibition of decorative arts brought by colleagues from the Siberian Institute of Traditional Applied Arts, a presentation and competition of plein air works in the exhibition hall of the university, a vernissage of the famous Kazakh artist Kazakhbay Azhibekuly in Military - Historical Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As part of the scientific program of the symposium, lectures were given by Professor O. V. Shlyapin from the Siberian State Pedagogical University (RF) and Professor Liu Wang Bing from Guangdong University of Technology (China).

June 7 and 8 became particularly tense. During these unusually hot days, the entire staff of the Higher School, with the help of student volunteers, ensured the holding of plein air in several picturesque locations of the capital, accompanied guests to the Military History Museum, a car tour of the city, and helped prepare landscape works for participation in the final exhibition and competition.

On June 9, the final day of the symposium, an international jury carefully reviewed the plein air works. The level of the competition films demonstrated the high creative capabilities of the participants and the choice was not easy.

The ideological inspirer and author of the concept of the symposium was Professor Baymurat Ermagambetovich Ospanov, an authoritative scientist who devoted many years to higher art education in Kazakhstan. The detailed study of the three-day program fell on the shoulders of senior teachers A. N. Alieva, G. A. Imangalieva, S. K. Mukhamedieva. Associate Professors Aliev T.Kh., Kiseleva T.A. and Povalyashko G.N., Dean S.B. Ybyrai provided information support and creative communication with the symposium participants, and presented our Higher School at all levels of communication. The entire teaching staff of VSID contributed to the creation of a friendly and creative atmosphere, which was noted by all guests of the symposium.

The Higher School of Art and Design, in accordance with the mission of Astana International University, is actively involved in expanding the geography of its partnerships with related creative universities outside of Kazakhstan.

International creative symposium “ASTANA. ART. PLEINER" (June 7-9) to commemorate the fifth anniversary of our university became an excellent opportunity to expand the creative community. The possibilities of educational, scientific and creative communication with colleagues and students from leading creative universities in Kyrgyzstan, the Siberian region of Russia, and Guangdong University (China) were actively discussed during all events of the creative symposium.

A logical continuation of the final events of the symposium “ASTANA. ART. PLEINER" was the official signing of documents on cooperation in joint educational programs, research projects, creative projects and trainings of the Astana International University and the Kyrgyz State University named after. I. Arabaeva, Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, (Russia), Guangdong University of Technology (China), Naryn State University named after. S. Naamatova (Kyrgyzstan).

In order to support a high level of professional training of personnel and the organization of practice-oriented education the Higher School of Economics regularly organizes guest lectures and master classes in the disciplines under study. Guest lectures are a unique platform where speakers can share their valuable knowledge and unique experience, talk about their expert industry, share new technologies and interesting business cases.

In the 2nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, meetings were held at the Higher School of Economics with leading experts from various organizations and companies. So, for example, the speakers were Tokmagambetov Kuanysh –Certified professional internal auditor DipCPIA, Amatov Meder - international business coach, Myngyshpan Erbolat - General Director of the mortgage company "Өз шаңырағым", Musin Rustam - Head of the Department of Strategic Development and Science of the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology, member of the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve, Baimamirov Yergali - Founder of First Film Studio, member of the board of the Association of Social Innovators and others.

At such meetings, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of the school get the opportunity to learn the necessary practical information, secrets of professional skills, be inspired by success stories, choose the best models to develop your own career.

During the academic year, active work was with students of the scientific club of the Higher School of Economics. For students was held scientific seminar "Publication of an article: subtleties of scientific work". Members of the student scientific club Zhalgasova G., Fazilov B., Kyrykbay N. took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Economic Security: State, Region, Enterprise", Altai State Technical University. In May 2023, members of the student scientific took part in the International Scientific Conference "XXIII Satpayev Readings". Zhalgasova G. won the second prize.

At the International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: “AIU - 2023: Analyze. Innovate. Use” member of the student’s scientific club Yerzhan Asylym was awarded a diploma of the 2nd degree. Student Zhalgasova Gulnaz became the owner of the "Best student -2023" in the International competition for students of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Members of the student’s scientific club took an active part in the International competition of scientific works of students "Genesis of entrepreneurship: from origin to the present", "Problems of development of the fuel and energy complex" at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Russia. The students won three prizes. At the final meeting, together with the students, the prospects for further work within the framework of the student’s scientific club were considered.

On May 30, 2023, a teacher of a higher school of education, PhD doctoral student, master of psychology Zhumatova Nurshat Zhumatkyzy took part in the Republican forum "Development of psychological service in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan", which was held in Almaty at the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai.

More than 80 leading specialists and experts in the field of psychological services and higher education of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in the forum.

As part of the event, PhD, Associate Professor Kusainova Manshuk Askarkyzy conducted a training session on the topic: “Prospects for the development and integration of psychological services”, which discussed approaches and methods for studying student youth. Upon completion of the training, Vice-Rector for Social Development of KazNPU named after Abaya Nurlanov Shyngys Nurlanovich presented certificates to the participants of the training.

The event provided a unique platform for the exchange of knowledge, experience and ideas about the development and strengthening of psychological services in the universities of our country.

Expressing gratitude to the organizers of the Republican Forum, the employees of KazNPU named after Abay, I would like to emphasize the significance, effectiveness and fruitfulness of such events in the development of psychological service in higher educational institutions.

In total, 55 scientific articles were submitted to the section of the Higher School of Economics. Welcoming words and congratulations were sent to the university by our partners: Zhao Zhongxiu, Rector of UIBE University, 赵忠秀校长, Stefan Dyrka, Doctor of economic sciences, Professor, Katowice Business University W. Korfantego, Poland, Shakizada Niyazbekova, Associate Professor, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Albena Nakova, Prof., Deputy Director, Institute of Philosophy and Sociology Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria, Ivan Petrov, Doctor of Economics, Professor, First Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.

The section was attended by 19 speakers. Based on the results of the work, they were awarded a diploma of the 1st degree Eleuova Aiken, 2 degree diplomas Zverkova Anastasia and Yerzhan Asylym, diplomas of the 3rd degree Sagadatova Karakat, Nurtazina Laura, Alimkulova Zarina. It was also decided to single out a number of students with nominations:

- "Relevance of the research": Gulamzhanova Sitara, Batyrbek Erzat, Trofimova Anna, Fashutdinov Artyom.

- “Creativity of thinking»: Kurmasheva Dilnaz, Fazilov Begzod.
