SCIENTISTS FROM IRAN HELD A HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL EXHIBITION

At the Higher School of Social Sciences and Humanities, scientists from Iran held an exhibition of ancient written manuscripts and a master class in calligraphy.

The events were organized by specialists of the Iranian International Microfilm Center "NUR", with the assistance of the Iranian Embassy in Kazakhstan.

The director of the aforementioned Center, Professor Mehdi Haja Piri, gave a lecture to Kazakhstani students and scientists on the restoration of ancient manuscripts. Professors Hussein Ali Jafariani and Vafadar Moradi presented rare copies of the written heritage.

Professor Hamid Malekiani conducted an exciting master class in calligraphy, in which students actively participated and gained valuable experience, discovering previously unexplored pages of history. The participants of the event also had the opportunity to get to know Iran's historical and cultural heritage better and enrich their knowledge in the field of restoration of valuable historical documents.
