The State Youth Prize "Daryn" is awarded annually in order to provide state support to talented youth for productive scientific, creative, social activities, as well as for high sporting achievements.
The competition will be held in 10 categories: "Literature", "Science", "Design and Fine Arts", "Journalism", "Classical Music", "Creative Initiatives", "Sports", "Theater and Cinema", "Variety", "Folk art".
Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the age of 35 at the time of the end of the application process, who are laureates of international and national competitions, festivals and exhibitions, prize-winners and winners of national and international sports competitions, as well as candidates whose activities are innovative and contribute to the development of the relevant industry and society as a whole, apply for the award.
Nominations for the award are submitted by government agencies and public associations.
The persons awarded the award are awarded the title of "Laureate of the State Youth Award "Daryn", a diploma, a badge and a cash prize are awarded.
The annual presentation of the Daryn Award is planned in a solemn atmosphere on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Daryn Award was established in 1992. Over the years, more than 340 people from various fields have won this award.
