On November 16, a significant meeting took place between the President of Astana International University and the Rector of Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, Georgi Vlchev. Also present at the meeting were the head of the Al-Farabi Center of Sofia University, Violetta Dobichina, and the Governor of Burgas Region, Maria Neykova. The result of the discussions was an agreement to jointly develop a dual-degree Master's program in "Eco-Management," which will combine the best educational practices of both countries.
Sofia University is the oldest and most prestigious university in Bulgaria, ranked between 401-600 in the Times Higher Education (THE) rankings. It holds the top spot in Bulgaria in the World University Rankings, scoring 70.7 out of 100 points globally.
