International cooperation in action: AIU NaturaLab AIU Research Laboratory

AIU "NaturaLab" scientific laboratory expands its capabilities and reaches new heights. Under the leadership of Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Anar Myrzagalieva, our team is making significant progress in research and development, to date 1 project of program-targeted funding, 1 project of grant funding and 2 projects Zhas Galym.

Thanks to grants from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, interdisciplinary research is conducted in the AIU laboratory, close cooperation with leading domestic and foreign scientific institutions is carried out, conditions for professional growth and development of young scientists and students are created.  

From June 24 to July 4, 2024 a group of AIU researchers (Myrzagalieva A.B., Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor; Orazov A.E., PhD; Samarkhanov T.N., PhD; Tustubaeva Sh.T., postdoctoral fellow; Alemseitova J.K., doctoral student; Kauanov S.A., student of the 4th year) together with scientists of Warsaw University, PhD, Professor Malgorzata Suska-Malawska, PhD Marcina Sulwinski, Masters - Piotra Chibowski and Marcina Zegarek; Professor of Wroclaw University, PhD - Cesari Kabala (Poland); Professor of Tottori University, PhD - Ayele Almau Fenta; PhD, Professor of the Center for Dead Sea Studies Ilan Stavi (Israel) conducted studies of biodiversity of the Tarbagatai National Nature Park.  The research was aimed at studying the ecosystems of the park, ecology and distribution of rare and endemic plants of the park, as well as analyzing the current state of biodiversity of the region. 

Interaction with foreign colleagues enriches the AIU scientific school with new methodologies and technologies, strengthens its position in the international scientific community and expands scientific horizons. Joint research contributes to the development of intercultural relations and the formation of a global scientific community in which each participant makes a unique contribution. 

We are proud of our contributions to science and are happy to share our successes! Collaborative research helps us to open new horizons, contributing to the development of global science and making a meaningful contribution to the understanding and preservation of Kazakhstan's natural heritage.
