“Application of new methods in teaching to develop functional literacy of students” among teachers of science and mathematics

On February 15, 2024, teachers of the Pedagogical Institute of Astana International University, PhD, ass. Professor Nurkenov S.A., ass. Professor, Ph.D. Aniyarov A.A. took part in a city seminar on the topic: “Application of new methods in teaching to develop functional literacy of students” among teachers of science and mathematics. The event was organized by: the Department of Education of the city of Astana and the administration of the school-gymnasium No. 2 named after Gafu Kaiyrbekov of the Akimat of the city of Astana.

Nurkenov S.A. spoke at the seminar with a report on the topic “Physical foundations of nuclear medicine: diagnostics and therapy”, as well as Aniyarov A.A. on the topic “On mathematics in microelectromechanical systems.” The purpose of the seminar was the exchange of experience and cooperation between schools and universities within the framework of interdisciplinary connections in natural and mathematical areas, including STEM technologies, methods of teaching disciplines taking into account knowledge, including PISA.
