MARKETING STUDENTS PRESENTED THEIR VISION FOR SOLVING SOCIAL ISSUES






From May 25 to June 8, 2026, first-year students of the6B04111 “Marketing” educational program took part in thecompetition “Students’ Views on Social Issues and Ways toSolve Them” as part of their practical training. The competitionwas organized jointly with the partner organization, theInternational Center for Psychology and Development “Metapsychology”. The Department of Student Affairs ofAstana International University also took an active part in thecompetition.
The competition served as a platform for an open dialogueamong young people about the most pressing challenges facingmodern society. Working in teams, students produced videoprojects addressing important social issues that concern today’syouth, including psychological well-being, interpersonalrelationships, social responsibility, the impact of the digitalenvironment, and other challenges requiring public attention. The participants’ main objective was not only to highlightexisting problems but also to propose practical solutions. Through their projects, students demonstrated active citizenship, a commitment to positive change, and a willingness tocontribute to the development of a socially responsible society.
A total of 13 video projects were submitted to thecompetition. Following the evaluation by the judgingcommittee, the winners of the first, second, and third placeswere selected. The authors of the best projects received cashprizes and certificates from the competition partner, theInternational Center for Psychology and Development “Metapsychology.” Participation in the competition enabledstudents to develop teamwork, project-thinking, and mediacontent creation skills, while also gaining a deeperunderstanding of their role in addressing social issues. Initiativesof this kind contribute to fostering a culture of responsibility, empathy, and civic engagement among young people.
