"ASTANA. ART. "PLEINER" international creative symposium dedicated to the 5th anniversary of Astana International University was held on June 7-9, 2023 at the initiative of the staff of the Higher School of Art and Design. A scientific program was organized for professors and teachers invited to participate from various Kazakhstani and foreign higher educational institutions.
Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of Novosibirsk Pedagogical University, Member of the Union of Artists of the Russian Federation, Honored Cultural Worker Oleg Vasilievich Shalyapin held a 36-hour course of lectures for teachers entitled "Current state, trends and perspectives of artistic education in Russian and foreign practice". The main topic of the lecture course is the task of increasing the effectiveness of the designer's professional education process, forming a clear artistic and design thinking as a synthesis of stylistic, conceptual and compositional interaction. Each lecture meeting ended with a discussion of the participants about modern opportunities and problems of art education.
