On March 1, 2023, a guest lecture was held for students of the Higher School of Information Technology and Engineering with the participation of Vasily Alekseevich Desnitsky, senior researcher at the Laboratory of Computer Security Problems, Federal State Budgetary Institution of Science "St. Petersburg Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences" on the topic "Approaches to detecting attacks in Internet of Things systems".
At a meeting with students, Vasily Alekseevich shared approaches to detecting attacks based on general rules and machine learning methods, as well as personal experience.
Students by asking their questions about security and attack detection received answers to them. Thus, they gained an understanding about the specifics of their future professional activities.
