Serguzhaevna Tynykulova successfully defended her PhD dissertation on the topic:

"Information System for Optimal Use of Land Resources (on the example of the Ayyrtau

district of the North Kazakhstan region)" within the educational program 8D06103 –

Information Systems.

University (Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan);

Foreign scientific supervisor: Andrey Vladimirovich Faddeenkov – Candidate of

Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Information Systems and

Technologies, N.M. Fedorovsky Zapolyarny State University (Norilsk, Russian Federation).

The study implemented an approach based on machine learning algorithms (Random

Forest, XGBoost, CatBoost), enabling accurate yield prediction and evidence-based decision-

making in the management of agricultural land through the analysis of agroecological, soil-

climatic, and spatial data. The research is distinguished by its applied orientation, scientific

novelty, and high practical significance.
