AIU Professors’ Career Guidance Meeting with School Students: On the Importance of Exact Sciences and Career Choice

On April 18, 2025, as part of career guidance and motivational activities, AIU professors met with students of School-Lyceum No. 95 in Astana.
The speakers were Associate Professor of Physics Serik Amangeldinovich Nurkenov and Associate Professor of Mathematics Almir Askarovich Aniayrov.
The meeting took the form of a motivational lecture, during which the professors spoke about the importance of fundamental sciences — physics and mathematics — in the modern world, and their role in scientific and technological progress and the development of innovative technologies.

The students listened with great interest to real-life examples, asked questions about choosing a profession, and explored current opportunities in education and science. The atmosphere of the meeting was warm and inspiring, which is especially important for fostering interest in the exact sciences and supporting students in their professional self-determination.
