On November 20, Astana International University (AIU) was visited by Mr. Alex Bortolan, Counselor of the French Embassy for Education and Culture, as part of the ongoing fruitful cooperation between AIU and the French mission.

Considering the long-term partnership between AIU and the French Embassy, Mr. Bortolan's visit is aimed at further strengthening cooperation in the field of education and culture.

One of the key topics during the meeting was the popularization of the French language in Kazakhstan. Over 250 AIU students chose French as a second language to study, indicating significant interest among young people in this language. The parties discussed strategies for promoting the French language among students and possible measures for further popularization.

Representatives of the AIU and Mr. Bortolan expressed a common commitment to develop and expand programs and initiatives aimed at supporting French language education and cultural exchange between France and Kazakhstan.
