Psychological Service Office

There is a psychological service office at Astana International University. The purpose of the service is to provide students with full-fledged systematic psychological assistance in social adaptation to the student lifestyle and changing socio-economic conditions, support in personal and professional self-realization. The service is aimed at psychoconsultation, psychodiagnostic, psychocorrection, psychoprophylactic and social-educational activities. In the office, each university student can get a personal consultation from a practicing psychologist. The psychological service is conducted by a practicing psychologist, gestalt consultant - Venera Eleu, working according to the method of gestalt therapy. Total experience in the field of psychology is 7 years, personal practice experience is 3 years.

Students can apply for a personal consultation on the following topics:

- insults, unstable psychological state;

- difficulty in imagining the future, difficulty in achieving your goals;

- complexes, stress;

- burnout and procrastination;

- problems with self-esteem and self-acceptance;

- self-determination ;

- feelings of guilt and shame;

- high anxiety;

- loneliness and fears;

- interpersonal relationships (parents, partner, friends, surrounding people) and other various topics.
