Social Innovation Laboratory

Target of Social innovation laboratory - implementation of social entrepreneurship policy, development of a social entrepreneurial ecosystem at the university.

Tasks of Social innovation laboratory:

 analysis, evaluation and monitoring of modern trends in the field of social entrepreneurship, continuous improvement of educational services and activities in order to integrate into the social space;

 introduction of modern technologies for teaching social entrepreneurship based on interaction with social entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

 development of the educational trajectory "Social entrepreneurship", development of personal and social competencies of students and teaching staff;

 advising students and graduates of the university, beginning social entrepreneurs;

 creation and development of an ecosystem of social entrepreneurship for interaction in order to exchange experience and cooperation;

 popularization of social entrepreneurship, formation of the image of a social entrepreneur among students;

 development of intellectual and creative abilities of students, formation of an active citizenship.

Social innovation laboratory created jointly with «GreenTAL» LLP (Astana), on the basis of which there is a branch of the Higher School of Economics of the Astana International University. According to the work plan, guest lectures by social entrepreneurs, field meetings based on social enterprises, support and consultations on social projects, trainings and provision of information about competitions and grant funding are held.
