On September 27th, the Psychology Department of Astana International University
hosted a webinar featuring Aigerim Steinberg, a Master of Psychology and a
specialist from the Pedagogical and Psychological Service of the City of Darmstadt
(Germany). Ms. Steinberg is an expert in protecting the rights of children, youth, and
adults, with a focus on preventing sexual and psychological abuse.
The lecture, titled "Harmonious development of the child in a space free from
violence: values and practices of Waldorf education," was held on
the Zoom platform from 1:00 PM to 3:33 PM. The speaker shared insights into the
core values and practical methods of Waldorf pedagogy, emphasizing the creation of
a nurturing and safe environment for children. The event was attended by both faculty
members and students, who engaged in a lively Q&A session.
