Aidana Sakhanova, a third-year
student at Astana International University, has won a prize in the 5th
International Essay Competition on Legal Framework for Public Finance,
organized by the Institute of Legislation and Comparative Law under the
Government of the Russian Federation.
Undergraduate and graduate
students from leading educational institutions in Russia and abroad
participated in this prestigious intellectual competition. The competition
spanned Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Vladimir, as well as
Kazakhstan, Belarus, and China. The largest number of competition entries were
submitted by students from Lomonosov Moscow State University, the Financial
University under the Government of the Russian Federation, Lobachevsky State
University of Nizhny Novgorod, St. Petersburg State University, the Russian
State University of Justice, and other leading universities.
According to the results of the
competitive selection process, Aidana Sakhanova took second place in the
"Legal Framework for Financial Security" section. Her essay on
"Financial Security: The Experience of Kazakhstan and Russia," in which
the author conducted a comparative analysis of the two countries' approaches to
ensuring the sustainability of public finances, received high praise from the
jury.
The essay was supervised by
Zhanat Seilkhanov, a senior lecturer at Astana International University's
Graduate School of Law. This recognition was a result of the university's
students' systematic research and active participation in international academic
initiatives.
The participation and success of
Astana International University students in international competitions confirms
the high level of training for future specialists and strengthens the position
of Kazakhstani education in the international academic arena.
