As part of the “Mental Health Week” organized by the
University Psychological Service, a masterclass titled “First Steps in the
Profession: Confidence, Responsibility, and Resources” was held on November 18.
The masterclass was conducted by L.P. Vasilyeva, a gestalt therapist, senior
trainer, and supervisor at the Moscow Institute of Gestalt and Psychodrama.
During the event, the specialist explained methods for
building confidence in psychological practice, the importance of personal
responsibility when working with clients, and ways to effectively use both
internal and external resources necessary for professional growth.
Students took part in interactive exercises and completed
practical tasks aimed at developing self-awareness, regulating emotional
states, maintaining professional boundaries, and strengthening effective
communication skills. The masterclass took place in a warm and supportive
atmosphere, serving as a valuable platform for experience exchange.
Participants received insightful recommendations that will help them plan their
professional paths more consciously.
