Safety and Responsibility: AIU Students Meet with Government Representatives

On October 16, 2025, Astana International University hosted a meeting with representatives of law enforcement and government agencies aimed at improving students' legal and digital literacy, preventing crime, and fostering responsible behavior in society.

Guests delivered welcoming remarks, sharing practical recommendations and up-to-date information on safety issues:

• Ospanbayev Bagdaulet Rysdavletuly, Head of the Cybercrime Department of the Astana City Police Department and Police Major, spoke about modern cyber threats and measures to protect personal data.

• Abzal Anuarbekov, Traffic Accident Inspector and Police Captain, drew attention to the main causes of road accidents and emphasized the importance of following traffic rules.

• Arman Nurakhmetuly, Theologian of the Department of Religious Affairs, discussed issues of spiritual security, the prevention of religious extremism, and the development of tolerance among young people.

 During the meeting, students actively asked questions, inquired about the specifics of interaction with law enforcement agencies, and discussed the role of digital culture in modern society.

The event helped raise students' awareness of legal norms and digital security, as well as strengthen cooperation between the university and government agencies in crime prevention and fostering a legal culture among young people.
