Today, a meeting with Egidijus Navikas, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Kazakhstan, was held at Astana International University. The main topic of the meeting was the development of cooperation between Kazakhstan and Lithuania in higher education, academic mobility, and international educational programs.

The meeting was attended by Astana International University President Serik Irsaliev, along with representatives of the management and International Cooperation Department. The parties discussed prospects for collaboration in student and faculty exchanges, joint scientific conferences, internships, and the development of dual degree programs between universities in Kazakhstan and Lithuania.

Ambassador Egidijus Navikas emphasized that education is one of the key areas of humanitarian cooperation between Kazakhstan and Lithuania. He noted that such initiatives create a solid foundation for mutual understanding between peoples, knowledge exchange, and cultural dialogue.

 Astana International University President Serik Irsaliev expressed gratitude to the Lithuanian side for their attention, emphasizing the strategic importance of international partnerships for strengthening AIU's position as a dynamically developing university.
