Astana International University Celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day of the People's Republic of China

On September 30, 2025, Astana International University (AIU), a branch of Beijing Language and Culture University (BLCU Kazakhstan), hosted a cultural event dedicated to the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day of the People's Republic of China.

AIU faculty and students, as well as invited guests, participated in the event. Among the guests of honor were Han Chunlin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Kazakhstan, and Wang Qinping, Director of the Chinese Cultural Center in Astana.

The event became a shining example of the strengthening of cultural dialogue and strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and China, offering participants the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the culture, traditions, national cuisine, music, and crafts of China.

This day has long symbolized family unity, harmony, and prosperity, and the shining full moon has become the embodiment of the continuity of generations and hope for a bright future. I also congratulate our Chinese colleagues on the upcoming National Day of the People's Republic of China. China occupies a special place among Kazakhstan's strategic partners. We wish the People's Republic of China a peaceful life, stability, prosperity, and new achievements," noted Serik Irsaliev, President of Astana International University.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Kazakhstan Han Chunlin noted the significance of the Mid-Autumn Festival—an ancient symbol of family unity and spiritual values.
