The AIU Pedagogical Institute hosted a spiritual and
cultural event dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and
thinker, Abai Kunanbayev.
During the event, students recited Abai’s poems and
excerpts from The Book of Words. In addition, they performed stage scenes, sang
both traditional and modern songs, and presented dance performances.
The main purpose of the celebration was to popularize
Abai’s heritage among young people, to develop students’ creative abilities,
and to strengthen respect for national values.
Abai’s legacy is an eternal treasure that calls for
justice, knowledge, and morality. The students of the Institute emphasized the
importance of applying his wisdom in everyday life.
