April 15 this year The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Daniel Rosemblum, and his wife visited on a private visit the workshop of the senior teacher of the Higher School of Art and Design of the Astana International University (AIU), the famous jeweler and artist Serzhan Muratovich Bashirov, and the workshop of one of the best Kazakhstani jewelers, our teacher Bekbolat Nurdanbek.

The Ambassador, being a lover of national art, with great interest got acquainted with the collection of numismatics, antique carpets, national jewelry, and the installation of national exhibits for the Nauryz holiday.

The visit of Mr. D. Rosemblum laid a good foundation for the involvement of AIU in the development of informal cultural exchange between connoisseurs of national art of Kazakhstan and the United States in the future.
