AIU and IDP IELTS Kazakhstan Sign Memorandum of Cooperation

Today, a memorandum of mutual cooperation was signed between Astana International University (AIU) and the IDP IELTS Kazakhstan International Testing Center.

The meeting was attended by the Rector of Astana International University, Anar Myrzagaliyeva, Dean of the Higher School of Natural Sciences, Ruslan Muratov, and Dean of the Higher School of Economics, Zubirash Smagulova. Aigerim Ondabayeva, Business Development Lead at IDP IELTS Kazakhstan, also represented the testing center. The primary objective of this collaboration is to enhance the English language proficiency of the university’s students and faculty, as well as to create conditions for high-quality preparation for international exams.

Within the framework of the memorandum, key initiatives were discussed, including support during IELTS registration for university students, expanded testing opportunities, and the organization of IELTS preparation seminars, webinars, and masterclasses.

Additionally, this partnership opens new horizons for the teaching staff through specialized professional development programs for English language instructors.

Moving forward, the parties plan to jointly organize English language Olympiads, competitions, debates, internships, and academic conferences to further cultivate students' language and academic skills.
