AIU Hosts Research Seminar by Pakistani Scholar Zulfiqar Ahmad

Today, Astana International University held an open research seminar entitled “Effective Ways to Publish in International Journals: From Writing a Paper to Increasing Citation Counts.”

The seminar was led by Zulfiqar Ahmad, PhD, a lecturer at the Department of Computer Science at Hazara University in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the seminar, participants learned how to turn a research idea into a paper, select an appropriate international journal, prepare manuscripts in accordance with academic publishing requirements, and respond to reviewers’ comments. They were also introduced to tools that can help increase the citation impact of research publications.

The event was beneficial for faculty members, researchers, master’s students, and doctoral students planning to publish in international journals indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. It aimed to deepen participants’ understanding of international academic publishing standards and help them improve the quality of their research.
