A scientific and practical seminar with Professor Olga Nedospasova from Tomsk State University was held at AIU

Today, Astana International University hosted a scientific and practical seminar featuring Olga Nedospasova, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Professor at Tomsk State University. The highlight of the meeting was the presentation of the joint textbook, «Social Entrepreneurship in Russia and Kazakhstan: Models and Practices.» This work focuses on modern approaches, models, and practical experience in developing social entrepreneurship in both countries.

Saule Tolegenovna Okutaeva, PhD, Associate Professor at the Higher School of Economics and co-author of the textbook, moderated the seminar and delivered a presentation on research projects in the field of social entrepreneurship. A special milestone announced during the event is the launch of Master's degree training under the "Social Entrepreneurship" educational program at the university. Moving forward, students of this program will actively contribute to advancing social entrepreneurship initiatives at the university.

Additionally, the seminar focused on enhancing the professional skills of young researchers and discussed initiatives to identify new areas for joint projects between the Higher School of Economics of Astana International University and Tomsk State University.
