Meeting of School Educators and University Researchers Held at Astana International University

Today, Astana International University, with the support of the City Education Department, hosted a meeting between secondary education teachers and university researchers. The August conference, themed "University and School: A Unified Ecosystem for Professional Teacher Development," brought together university scholars, school principals, heads of methodological associations, and educators.

The purpose of the conference was to strengthen interaction between general secondary and higher education institutions, discuss topical issues in the development of modern pedagogical education, and determine promising areas of cooperation between the university and schools.

During the August conference, Zhanna Kuanyshevna Akhmadieva, Director of the Pedagogical Institute at Astana International University, delivered a report on "Conceptual Foundations for the Development of Modern Pedagogical Education," paying special attention to the key tasks of this field.

In addition, meeting participants discussed modern approaches in pedagogical education, as well as issues regarding the training of future teachers and support for young specialists.

At the meeting, secondary and higher education specialists delivered reports highlighting key areas of professional teacher development. In particular, priority attention was paid to the methodological aspects of value-oriented education, advanced training for teachers, the development of school mentorship, preparing teachers for the effective use of AI, and the improvement of engineering-technological and inclusive education.
