Astana International University and Yugra State University Sign Cooperation Agreement





















On July 3, 2026, Astana International University hosted a delegation from Yugra State University (Khanty-Mansiysk, Russian Federation), led by its Rector, Roman Kuchin, PhD in Biological Sciences. The delegation also included Tatyana Antofeeva, Head of the Higher School of Ecology.
During the visit, the guests toured the university’s infrastructure, visited the research laboratory and specialized classrooms, and subsequently held an official meeting with the leadership of Astana International University. The parties discussed prospects for enhancing academic and scientific cooperation, implementing student and faculty mobility programs, and exploring opportunities for establishing dual-degree programs.
The centerpiece of the visit was the signing of a cooperation agreement between Astana International University and Yugra State University. The document provides for the development of partnership relations in education and science, the implementation of joint research projects, academic exchanges, and the expansion of international collaboration between the universities. Following the official proceedings, the parties exchanged commemorative gifts and expressed confidence that the newly established agreements would serve as a solid foundation for long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation.
