Charity Begins in the Heart

On April 9, students of the "Geography" educational program of the Astana International University visited the family of Gaziza Iskenderova, living in the village of Karaotkel. This family is in need of special support: the mother is raising seven children, one of whom is diagnosed with cerebral palsy (CP), while the father is battling a serious illness.

During the meeting, the students got acquainted with the family's situation and offered their support. In addition, the funds collected during the charity fair, held as part of Geography Week from April 13 to 19, were handed over to the family.

First and second-year students actively participated in the event, contributing to this noble cause. Such initiatives help foster qualities of kindness, compassion, and social responsibility among young people.

The family expressed their heartfelt gratitude and shared their best wishes with the students.
