AIU Students Became Prize Winners of the XVIII Republican Geography Olympiad

The XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad in the educational program “B014 – Geography

Teacher Training” was held at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University, bringing

together students from 20 leading universities across Kazakhstan.

The aim of the Olympiad was to assess students’ theoretical and practical knowledge, enhance

their professional skills, and improve the quality of geography teacher training.

This year, students of Astana International University demonstrated strong performance. Under

the supervision of Master of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer Galymbek Tursynuly

Baigukin, 4th- and 1st-year students Rakhmatali Nurislam Muratuly and Orazbekov Nurkeldi

Erboluly achieved notable results.

Orazbekov Nurkeldi Erboluly won 3rd place in the individual category and was awarded a third-

degree diploma. All participants received certificates, while supervisors were presented with

letters of appreciation.
