listening skills. The club provides an opportunity to develop intercultural
interaction, and study Chinese through literary and film evenings with game
elements, making learning more exciting and effective.
Results and impressions: The first event was a screening of the Disney animated film "Soul" in Chinese. This animated masterpiece touches on several important topics, the main one being the search for the meaning of life. "Soul" carries a strong message about the value of life and the importance of understanding one's place in the world. After watching, the students were asked to talk about their 火花 - the spark, what they love or do not love, what they should devote their 人生 to, and what they categorically 不能接受, and also thought about what their 吃饭的家伙 could become in the future. The students were also able to learn various useful phrases that are not found in the educational materials, but are often used by native speakers, which in the future is intended to help and facilitate their communication with teachers and foreign students during their studies at the partner university - the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE) in the capital of China, Beijing. In the future, the club plans to continue holding meetings, selecting films, and enriching the content with different thematic ideas, such as "Chinese Cuisine", "Tourism in China", "History of China", "Business with China" to further deepen students' knowledge of Chinese culture.
