Astana International University continues to expand its international cooperation. As part of educational opportunities for AIU students, the university hosted a representative of the prestigious Erasmus Mundus program, Professor Tomasz Pędziński, Doctor of Science from Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland).
During the meeting, Professor Pędziński introduced AIU students to the Erasmus Mundus academic mobility program, providing a detailed overview of opportunities to study at leading universities in Europe and Canada. Students learned about the program structure, candidate requirements, and scholarship opportunities. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of preparing a strong motivation letter and proving proficiency in English.
The Erasmus Mundus program offers students the opportunity to study in different countries worldwide, earning diplomas from multiple universities. Mobility options include France, Portugal, Poland, Italy, and Canada, as well as internships in leading research laboratories and innovative companies. The professor highlighted that graduates who successfully complete the program not only receive an international education but also gain excellent employment prospects in Europe.
According to the professor, the participation of Kazakhstani students in this program is a priority, as their number remains relatively small. The European Commission’s funding allows for the support of more candidates. This opens additional opportunities for AIU students interested in international academic mobility and building a successful career in science and technology.
Professor Pędziński’s visit marked an important step in strengthening AIU’s collaboration with European universities and developing new opportunities for students. We sincerely thank the professor for his visit and hope that AIU students will fully take advantage of the opportunities presented!
