Koshanova Saule Erdenovna – PhD from the Peking University has been appointed the Director of the Beijing Language and Culture University’s branch campus in Kazakhstan (BLCU Kazakhstan).

Saule Koshanova has a master's degree from the University of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (BLCU and Gumilyov Eurasian National University) on speciality «Regional Studies: China», MBA (Prague, Czech Republic), Consulting Psychologist  (Moscow, Russia), Bachelor of Economics and Business on speciality «Finance», Bachelor in Social Sciences on speciality ««Regional Studies: China». 

Doctor Koshanova collaborated on projects for the UN, World Bank, Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. She was the director of the first Confucius Institute in Kazakhstan, headed the International Educational Programs Department at Gumilyov Eurasian National University. She was the Director of the Research Institute of the Asia-Europe land-sea transport corridor. 

Saule Koshanova is a member of the International Confucian Association, graduate of the School of Analytics of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, member of the Board of Directors of the SCO Institute of Public Diplomacy. Doctor Koshanova was awarded a medal for her contribution to the development and establishment of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.  

More than 20 years of experience of Koshanova S.E. in the Kazakh-Chinese educational/ cultural sphere, as well as, a well-coordinated team provides a solid base for the courses offered at the BLCU Kazakhstan.

The first intake of students for the programs: Foundation (17-25 years old), Language courses (no age limit) and Bachelor's degree is currently underway. Bachelor's graduates will receive AIU and BLCU diplomas in the specialities: «Chinese Language Teacher» and «Translation Studies: Chinese and English».
