School of Natural Sciences held the first interuniversity environmental quiz (dedicated to Earth Day) among Ecology students of our university and the Kazakh University of Technology and Business

On April 11, School of Natural Sciences held the first interuniversity environmental quiz (dedicated to Earth Day) among Ecology students of our university and the Kazakh University of Technology and Business. 2 teams were formed: Eco-activists and Cleanliness Indicators. Each team consisted of students from both universities. The fans were also divided to support teams. During the quiz, students answered questions, completed tests and solved environmental situations. The first place was taken by the team Purity indicators (Esbay Maira, Shaysultanova Ayanat, Salibayeva Evelina, Tenizbayeva Margarita), and the second place was given to the Eco-Activists (Abuova Tamiris, Belova Alexandra, Saburova Meruert and Dzhemalov Zhaksylyk). The main goal of the quiz - deepening and consolidation of environmental knowledge - was achieved. Such activities contribute to the development of soft skills such as logical thinking, the ability to compare and analyze, and establish cause-and-effect relationships.   The students were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts, senior lecturer of SNS Madina Karibayeva and associated professor of KazUTB Nurgul Mamytova on behalf of the institute's management received letters of thanks.
