A meeting took place at the Astana International University with a representative from "Sage Publishing Asia-Pacific" (http://www.sagepublications.com/), Ms. Mira Kurmanbayeva. The meeting was attended by senior management, deans, library staff, researchers, and young scholars of AIU in an online format.

Sage Publishing, founded in 1965 in New York by Sara Miller McCune and George D. McCune, formerly the head of Macmillan Publishers, produces over 1000 scholarly journals and more than 800 books annually. They also publish reference materials such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, and handbooks, along with electronic products covering entrepreneurship, humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and medicine.

Sage Publishing is a leading global publisher of scientific literature, providing high-quality and up-to-date materials for researchers, scholars, and professionals. Additionally, Sage Publishing actively supports the research community by organizing conferences, seminars, and other events, fostering the exchange of knowledge and experience.

Starting from February 1, 2024, Sage Publishing grants AIU access to interactive resources compiled with the participation of various experts. These resources cover essential skills for university education, including educational materials, online courses, training modules, and guides – all available on a single platform!

This presents an excellent opportunity for AIU students and staff to enhance their scientific and information skills, as well as to improve professional competencies. Collaborative teaching and learning using digital platforms and interactive formats will expand opportunities for interactive education and self-development.
