On October 17, 2023, Astana International University hosted a meeting of students and university teachers with the head of the Prevention Department, Asset Kanyshevich Ospanov, and the officer for Particularly important Cases of the Prevention Department, Almagul Yersinovna Kenebayeva of the Department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Combating Corruption in Astana, on the topic "Fighting corruption is a priority direction of state policy".

The event was held as part of the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Policy Concept for 2022-2026.

The Dean of the Higher School of Law Khairmukhanmedov Nurbek Isabayevich made an introductory speech, who noted the importance of holding such events to prevent corruption at the University. The event was also attended by Deputy Dean Seilkhanov Zh.D., curators of the groups Zhambaev E.S., Zhurunova M.K., Eleubekova A.K.

The Head of the Prevention Department Asset Kanyshevich presented materials on the formation of an anti-corruption culture, on state measures to combat corruption, the Concept of anti-corruption Policy for 2022-2026, and also gave examples of the consequences of non-compliance with the anti-corruption law.

Almagul Yersinovna, an officer for particularly important cases of the Prevention Department, in her report stressed the need for strict adherence to the country's anti-corruption policy, at the same time, she outlined the goals, principles and tasks necessary to reduce corruption, involve all citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the anti-corruption movement by creating "zero tolerance" on the part of both students and professors.- teaching staff.

Following the results of the event, students actively asked questions to representatives of the Anti-Corruption Service on topics of interest to them in the framework of anti-corruption.
