AIU Launches Leadership Competency Development Program

A one-year leadership competency development program was launched today at Astana International University.
The program is delivered by KazMedia Holding, the exclusive distribution partner of Harvard Business Impact. Over the course of the year, participants will master international management tools and apply them in the University’s operations.
Today, strategic trainer and facilitator Dana Magauina conducted the first session of the program at Astana International University. The session brought together 24 participants, including AIU Rector Anar Myrzagaliyeva, department directors, and deans of the University’s Higher Schools. Its primary goal was to develop leaders’ strategic thinking.
During the session, participants learned about the importance of assessing complex situations comprehensively and paying close attention to details in leadership. They also discussed how change affects team performance.
The program provides University leaders with a valuable opportunity to strengthen their strategic thinking, effective decision-making, and team management skills. Developing leadership competencies is an important investment in the future of the University and the quality of education.
