Aiu Hosts “Welcome Party & Clubs Fair”

On October 2, 2026, Astana International University hosted the “Welcome Party & Clubs Fair,” a festive event dedicated to the beginning of the new academic year.

The event aimed to introduce first-year students to the University’s social, cultural, and creative life, showcase the activities of student clubs, and encourage greater student engagement.

Rector of Astana International University, Anar Myrzagaliyeva Bazarkyzy, delivered a welcoming address to the students. In her opening speech, she congratulated the students on the start of the new academic year and wished first-year students a successful adaptation, memorable university years, and new achievements.

The program began with the “Clubs Fair.” Over the course of two hours, first-year students explored the University’s clubs and creative organizations and spoke with their representatives. Participants were able to choose clubs that matched their interests and talents, giving them an opportunity to become actively involved in university life.

The fair provided students with a welcoming environment in which they could adapt to their new surroundings, make friends, and develop their creative potential. Club representatives also shared detailed information about their activities, upcoming plans, and opportunities for new members.

The event continued with a concert program featuring performances by the “AMANAT” ensemble, the “AIU Tunes” club, the “BEGIMAI” and “Dancing High” dance clubs, the “DUDAR-AI” choir, and other talented AIU students. The vibrant music and dance performances created a festive atmosphere and lifted the audience’s spirits. Students also took an active part in interactive games and competitions, winning various prizes.

The “Welcome Party” concluded with an “After Party” dance event.
