AIU’s Department of International Cooperation Held an Information Session for First-Year International Students


















On September 30, Astana International University held an information session for newly enrolled first-year international students. During the meeting, thestudents were informed about the key requirements ofthe migration legislation of the Republic ofKazakhstan.
The primary purpose of the session was to providecomprehensive information on the proceduresgoverning the entry and stay of foreign nationals inKazakhstan, migration registration, the preparation ofrequired documents, and the timely renewal of thosedocuments.
Representatives of AIU’s Department ofInternational Cooperation emphasized the importanceof regularly monitoring document expiration dates. Students were also reminded to notify the relevantUniversity office promptly of any changes to theirresidential address or migration status.
The information session continued in a question-and-answer format. Students asked questions abouthow to contact the Department of International Cooperation and received clear guidance from itsspecialists.
The session helped first-year students gain a betterunderstanding of migration requirements and recognizethe importance of handling every documentresponsibly. University representatives will continue toprovide international students with information andguidance.
