AIU Invites Students to Join the "Reading Nation" Project
Today in Astana leaders of 19 higher education institutions gathered to discuss the implementation of the "Reading Nation" project.
The project's mission is to enter the top 10 most reading countries in the world and build a lifelong reading habit starting from childhood.
Project Goals:
· Enhance youth knowledge through reading;
· Promote national literature and strengthen spiritual and cultural values.
The project consists of two key tracks:
· "Reading University" – for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students;
· "Reading Intellectual" – for faculty members, researchers, and university staff.
Participants will read 15 recommended literary works over a 6-month period and take knowledge assessment tests. To join the marathon, register on the unified digital platform reading-nation.kz.
Following the competition, winners and active participants will be awarded valuable prizes.
Astana International University encourages all students, faculty, and staff to take part in cultivating a reading culture and supporting national literature.
