Diplomatic Track: AIU Initiatives on Cooperation with the UK Receive Support from the Embassy of Kazakhstan

As part of the visit to the United Kingdom, President of Astana International University (AIU) S.A. Irsaliyev held a meeting with Alibek Asetuly Bakaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

During the meeting, the head of the diplomatic mission was briefed on AIU’s key projects in the internationalization of higher education, with a particular focus on the UK. Special attention was given to prospects for partnership with the global education group INTO, as well as the large-scale initiative to establish an innovative “global multicampus.”

Ambassador A.A. Bakaev noted that strengthening cooperation in higher education is one of the diplomatic mission’s priority areas and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support for the implementation of the projects presented by AIU.

High-level diplomatic support for AIU’s initiatives opens up new opportunities for further developing the university’s cooperation with UK universities.
