AIU is strengthening its cooperation with international scholars

Today, the Rector of Astana International University, Anar Myrzagaliyeva, met with international scholars. The guests included Professor Piotr Kosinski from Poznań University of Life Sciences (Poland), Professor Lily N. Abdullah and Associate Professor Dr. Fatimah Khalid from Universiti Putra Malaysia (Malaysia), and Professor Murat Gökalp from Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University (Turkey). This year, international scholars began teaching university students and exchanging professional experience.

To improve the quality of education and develop international academic cooperation, the aforementioned foreign professors were invited to Astana International University this year to teach courses through a complete cycle. They fully participate in all key stages of the educational process – ranging from developing course content and providing methodological support, to conducting lectures and practical classes, offering advisory support to students, and assessing their learning outcomes.

This format of cooperation makes it possible to integrate international educational experience into the learning process, broaden students' academic horizons, develop their professional and intercultural competencies, and strengthen the university's international academic ties. In addition, it creates conditions for the exchange of experience and contributes to improving the quality of education.

Establishing partnerships with foreign universities and developing the scientific and academic direction are among the key priorities for Astana International University. Currently, about 10 educational programs at the institution are taught in English. In addition, the initiative to attract international faculty to the country to enhance students' knowledge is being actively implemented.

The meeting focused on increasing the number of joint research projects, integrating modern technologies into the educational process, and improving academic mobility programs. Currently, the exchange of experience with foreign universities is developing rapidly in the fields of education, information technology and engineering, and the natural sciences. Plans are underway to further expand the scope of this initiative in the future.
