Results of the II Stage of the Republican Research Work Competition for Higher Education Students (NIRS) in the "Biology" Educational Program (2026)

Astana International University has finalized the results of the II stage of the Republican Research Work Competition for Higher Education Students (NIRS) in the training direction 6B051 – "Biological and Related Sciences".

In 2026, 26 research papers from 14 higher education institutions were submitted to the competition.

By the decision of the competition committee, the best student research papers were awarded diplomas by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The 1st Degree Diploma was awarded to 1 research paper:

• Kaldarbek Akmeir – 4th-year student at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, educational program 6B05101 – Biology.

• Research Topic: "Ұлттық ашыған сүт өнімдерінің микрофлорасы негізінде пробиотикалық қасиеті бар биоқұрамаларды әзірлеу" (Development of biocompositions with probiotic properties based on the microflora of national fermented milk products).

• Scientific Advisors: Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Sartayeva A.A.; Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Baitasheva G.U.

The 2nd Degree Diplomas were awarded to 2 research papers:

• Kural Viktoriya – 4th-year student at the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan Research University, educational program 6B05110 – Biology.

• Research Topic: "Түркістан облысындағы сүттің бактериялық ластануын анықтау" (Determination of bacterial contamination of milk in the Turkistan region).

• Scientific Advisor: PhD, Associate Professor Musabekov A.T.

• Toktagazina Nuray – 4th-year student at Astana International University, educational program 6B05101 – Biology.

• Research Topic: "Қазақстан аймақтарындағы жатыр мойны обырының эпидемиологиялық және биологиялық аспектілері" (Epidemiological and biological aspects of cervical cancer in the regions of Kazakhstan).

• Scientific Advisor: PhD, Associate Professor Sharipova M.Zh.

The 3rd Degree Diplomas were awarded to 3 research papers:

• Aryn Nazerke – 2nd-year student at the S. Seifullin Kazakh AgroTechnical Research University, educational program 6B05103 – Biology.

• Research Topic: "Жерсіндіру жағдайындағы дәрілік өсімдіктердің экологиялық-биологиялық ерекшеліктері, өсуі мен дамуы" (Ecological and biological features, growth, and development of medicinal plants under acclimatization conditions).

• Dauitbay Aizere – 4th-year student at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, educational program 6B05102 – Biology.

• Research Topic: "Сырдария өзені аңғарының флорасы және оның экологиялық сипаттамасы" (Flora of the Syr Darya River valley and its ecological characteristics).

• Scientific Advisor: Candidate of Biological Sciences, Professor Inelova Z.A.

• Kondratyeva Anastasiya – 2nd-year student at Toraighyrov University, educational program 6B05101 – Biology.

• Research Topic: "Сравнительный анализ биолого-морфологических показателей Stevia rebaudiana при использовании различных регуляторов роста" (Comparative analysis of biological and morphological indicators of Stevia rebaudiana using various growth regulators).
